SpeakHQ Help

What is SpeakHQ? How do you use it?

SpeakHQ lets you collaborate with your friends, co-workers or anyone else in a micro-update way. This makes it useful to give simple, concise updates on matters such as projects, planning things, and anything else you feel like using it for.

How is SpeakHQ different from Twitter, Friendfeed, etc.?

SpeakHQ is based on the idea of groups where, like Twitter, you send updates, but they are contained within that group. If you've ever used Twitter, you know how much can be said within 140 characters and how useful that information can become. With SpeakHQ, we're taking Twitter's ideology – clear, concise and to-the-point updates – and letting you use it for group collaboration.

So now I have a SpeakHQ account. What now?

You can create new groups and invite your friends, co-workers, or group members to that group, or you can join public groups such as the speakhq suggestions group.

What's the difference between public and private groups?

With public groups, anyone that has a SpeakHQ account can join the group, and post messages, whereas with a private group, only people that have been explicitly invited by you can join the group.

How was SpeakHQ made?
